Alejandro Simón Alvarez Builla is a Cuban-american artist born in Havana, Cuba in 1987. After migrating with his family to the United States in 2002, and finishing his high school studies he was granted a full scholarship to study visual arts at Miami International University of Art and Design. His works have been shown at the University of Miami in 2007, at “Miami Art Fair” in 2008 and 2010, at “Arte Americas” in the Miami Beach Convention Center in 2010 and at Fountain Art Fair during the Art Basel week in Miami, Florida. Alejandro Simón received his degree of Master in Fine Arts from Florida State University in 2013.
